1) What is the search radius feature?
The Search Radius feature allows your marketplace to show search results based on distance. This means users will only see listings that are within a specific radius from their location.
This feature is useful for marketplaces that rely on location-based results, such as services, rentals, or local marketplaces. It helps users find more relevant results and improves the overall user experience.
Admins can enable and configure this feature from the Admin Dashboard.
2) How do I activate this feature?
Go to Settings > Advanced > Feature Control > Advanced Search
- To configure your Search Radius for your space time template, click on Edit.
- Choose your search unit( Km or miles)
- The default value is set at 20000 km. However, you can change the search radius and choose between one of the options below
Kilometers (KM):
- 10 km
- 100 km
- 5,000 km
- 10,000 km
- 20,000 km (default)
Miles:
- 5 miles (8 km)
- 10 miles (16 km)
- 100 miles (160 km)
- 5,000 miles (8,046 km)
- 10,000 miles (16,093 km)
- Once you have decided on the search radius, save the changes
