Enhance account security by limiting the lifespan of passwords for your registered marketplace consumers, merchants, and sub-accounts using the Password Rotation feature.
Accessing Password Rotation
- From the Admin Portal sidebar, go to:
- Settings → Access Control → Password Rotation.
Enabling or Disabling Password Rotation
- Enable: Click Okay to activate the feature.
- Existing users will be required to reset their password before logging in.
- Cancel: Click Cancel to keep the feature turned off.
Configuring Rotation Period
Admins can set the password rotation period by selecting from the available options:
- 90 days
- 60 days
- 40 days
- 30 days
- 20 days
Additional Controls
- Reminders: Notify registered consumers, merchants, and sub-accounts when their password is about to expire within a specified number of days.
- Password History Validation: Prevent users from reusing previous passwords.
- Persona Enforcement: Define which user roles must comply with password rotation and who can waive the reset requirement.
