We understand that buyers or sellers may need to cancel a booking due to various circumstances. To make this process easier, Arcadier provides a built-in feature that allows sellers to cancel service bookings directly from their dashboard.
Where to Cancel a Booking
Sellers can manage cancellations from their Seller Dashboard under the “Documents” section.
Each booking includes an order status and a “Cancel Order” button for listings that are eligible for cancellation.
Important: Once a booking is cancelled, it cannot be undone. If the service is still needed, the buyer will have to place a new booking.
What Happens After a Cancellation?
- Buyer Notification - The buyer will automatically receive an email informing them that their booking has been cancelled.
- Time-slot Becomes Available - The system will release the cancelled time-slot, making it available for other buyers to book.
- Updated Order Status - The booking will be marked as “Cancelled” in the Bookings tab.
Refunds are handled manually.
