Introduced a higher concentration of new features alongside meaningful security, governance, and workflow enhancements. Updates during the quarter strengthened item visibility controls, expanded password lifecycle and account security management, and improved administrative tooling across user management and analytics. This release also included extensive stability improvements addressing search behaviour, approval workflows, authentication flows, and catalog management.
New Features
- Password reset (Aug 2024): Admin can set the number of times a user can reset their password and the time interval in between.
- Elastic search (Aug 2024): Admin can select item custom fields that will be synced with Elastic search. Only available for marketplaces on the Retail Goods themes.
- Merchant panel (Aug 2024): Merchant panel available on homepage of services marketplaces, on the bookings and listing’s themes.
- Marketplace analytics (Aug 2024): Admin can customise the metrics by timeframe and unit of measurement.
- User management (Aug 2024): Admin can Create User for a consumer or merchant from within the Admin Portal.
- Forgot password (Aug 2024): Users are now required to complete reCAPTCHA verification when requesting a password reset.
- Password rotation (Aug 2024): Admin can set a password expiry. Currently limited to admin users only. Expanding to consumer and merchant users on roadmap.
- Collections (Aug 2024): Admin can promote collections of product/items or merchants on the homepage.
- Password rotation (Sep 2024): Consumers and Merchants are required to change password according to the password lifecycle configured by the marketplace Admin.
- Item flags (Sep 2024): Admins can set marketplace items/listings to accessible, searchable, purchasable, visible.
- Storefront visibility control (Sep 2024): Item flags can be used to control storefront listing visibility, homepage visibility, search visibility, and checkout availability.
- Maintenance page (Sep 2024): Admin can now set a maintenance page while the items accessibility (Item Flags) is off.
Improvements
- CKEditor support (Sep 2024):
- CKEditor to version 5 supported on About Us page, Policies (Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Return Policy, FAQ (edit)), Item Add/Edit page (Item Description) & custom fields text editor.
- CKEditor was updated across the API template, admin portal, and enterprise templates for improved stability and consistency.
- Password rotation flows (Sep 2024): Password change and reset flows were updated to align with password rotation requirements.
- Flag terminology clarity (Sep 2024): The “Purchasable” flag was relabelled to “Active” to better reflect intended usage.
- Branding updates (Sep 2024): Arcadier branding was refreshed in admin portals and system emails sent to administrators.

- Collections fix (Aug 2024):
- Responsiveness when adding an option to a collection.
- Users/merchants are presented when user type collection is created.
- An issue with missing checkboxes.
- Collection Name text field is limited to 130 characters.
- Cover Image on the Collection Option list is not clickable.
- Approval flow fix (Aug 2024):
- Confirmation modal not disappearing unless the page is refreshed.
- Delete button and added new workflow is unresponsive.
- Selected Approvers not displayed on approval workflow details page.
