The seller can set the rental duration, and a price for that rental duration. The available units for the rental duration are: ‘/minute’, ‘/hour’, ‘/day’, ‘/week’, ‘/month’ as well as 'Custom'.
With ‘Custom’, sellers will be able to set their rental duration for a specific number of minutes or hours. For example, a surfboard renter can set the duration of his/her surfboard rental to 45 minutes, so the buyer can only book it for 45-minute sessions each time.
For hours, the minimum limit is 1 hour, and the maximum limit is 12 hours. For minutes, the minimum limit is 15 minutes, and the maximum limit is 150 minutes. Also, with minutes and hours, overnight booking is not allowed. For example, a booking from 11am - 1am the next day will not be possible.
In addition, buyers have the ability to book multiple rental periods back to back. For example, if a seller sets his/her surfboard rental duration for 20 minutes, the buyer will be able to book 3 back to back 20-minute rentals, resulting in a 60-minute rental.
The seller will also input their price for the rental duration they have chosen, such as $25/hour. However, if the seller has created a custom rental duration such as 45 minutes, then the seller will input the price per chosen unit. For example, the seller can set $1 per minute, which will result in $45 per 45 minutes.
