    Hi all, I understand from this thread that you cannot have location search and keyword search at the same time (which should be enabled of course).

    Are any of you able to clarify - If I make a service marketplace and I remove the location search, can I add a keyword search instead? Is keyword search available for service marketplaces? Thanks

    On a Service marketplace (which I am using) it is always possible to browse services by location on a map. But there is no text field where you can input the name of a specific location to browse listings.

    There is a keyword search text field that already exists and that you can remove. Personally I removed it because I am not sure it works perfectly 100% in my specific case.

    Hi, I am in the middle of working to add this to my site with a vendor. So far they have told me is not possible because Arcadier created a limit to only search by listing or location either of but not both.  For is a problem because my market is a services global market so it does not make sense to search in a different country.

    What I've been told as a possibility is to an agency create a different homepage that will pull or use codes from Arcadier template. We are still exploring this but I do not think is ideally. Otherwise why have a template here.

    I did get confirmation that an external page would not be possible to add a Search by location. So I request if you could support my request to have Arcadier this a their improvements feature.

    I have found this is not included which is one of the most important features of my business. I am still on trial account or the most basic testing it, but if this is not included right away I'll have to go with another platform because this is a key aspect to make a business work. Users don't have time to browse and browse. Is inefficient and a waste of time.

    It needs to be included on the next phase of upgrades!!!!

    Hi,

     

    I would like to add this feature is considered for mid next year however if some of you have upgraded to growth or higher plan I am sure you have a large market of users and sellers so without this feature it complicates the efficiency of the search.  Meaning why upgrade now if we can't benefit of being able to have a large registered users since they won't be able to find each other easy. 

    I insist this feature is included as a priority for this year. or would recommend to people not to upgrade until "location" is added.

    This is a very powerful feature and should be standard offering. This is what is making me decide between joining Arcadier or joining the tribe.

    I have spoken to Tribe as well and their API does offer this option. Sadly I learned Arcadier did not have this once I paid for the upgrade to access API.  

    Arcadier needs to hurry to offer this. Their schedule till April may be too late for me.
