    It could be because we receive a notification only if the new Seller has completed the full on boarding process, i.e. when the new Seller has connected its payment method to its profile. 

    I believe that the trigger for the marketplace admin to receive the notification email comes from the payment method that is successfully connected

    So, if your new sellers have not connected their payment method yet, then the admin does not receive any notification.

    This is what I noticed from my marketplace.

    Nico, I just want to say thanks for posting this.  I found that I had 23 sellers that had signed up but not connected their payment method.  Of course I had no idea until you shared this info.  I was able to reach out and help a couple of them through the old glitch that prevented them from signing up all the way since they hit the back button.
