Catering Marketplace
Would love to see a marketplace specifically built around the catering industry. While the Services marketplace is usable, it is too generic and doesn't hit the unique needs of this particular industry.

Makes sense, it should work if the current marketplace would have te ability to list prices in a variable way. Prices of addon services for example based on number of guests for food and drinks...

A catering marketplace sounds like a good idea! However, the reason why our marketplace templates are designed according to retail, space, services (by keyword and location) is that they are the most scalable and flexible type of marketplaces for the majority of our users.
A catering marketplace still can be created on our retail marketplace template where the different variant fields can be customised!

I understand what you are saying. Of course, Arcadier needs to make generic sorts of marketplaces for best widespread usability. Makes perfect sense.
That said, it is also the very reason that it lacks the specific needs of a given industry, because it is geared to be used with any industry. But I absolutely understand your position. Hopefully, one day down the line when Arcadier has reached a different level, you will have the time/resources to make industry specific marketplaces catering (pun intended) to the specific needs of a particular industry.
In the meantime, you suggest that the retail marketplace is the better choice for catering services. I would have guessed that the services marketplace was the right choice.
