In-built feature to Charge Membership Fees

Could I get a feature that allows me to charge membership or subscription fees? I know we can make the marketplace a private one and charge using third-party applications, but this as an in-built feature would really help me to track everything from one place.

I'm building a services directory and marketplace. I'd like to charge monthly Membership fees to some service providers, and a commission to others. Small transactions (less than $US500) would be free, covered by monthly membership. Larger transactions (more than $500) would be charged a commission of 10%.

Agreed! I also want to use a hybrid of subscription and commission. Hope the subscription feature will be implemented soon.
