Upgrades for the Seller's Orders List Page in the Dashboard (Retail)
(I was advised to post all of this here. For all browsing, they supposedly use the number of upvotes to prioritize changes... so please upvote any requests that you support)
- In the seller's orders list on their dashboard, each order is automatically marked as "Acknowledged" and the only other option is "Delivered." However, the system treats this as "Shipped" and sends the buyer an email titled "Your order is on its way." For a retail environment, this label needs to say "Shipped." Every single one of my sellers was confused by this, with several of them marking it delivered when the tracking number shows the item had reached the buyer... which is a weird time for that email to get sent...
- Please add a field to input a shipping courier and tracking number as a seller marks the order as shipped, and insert those fields into the "Your order is on its way" email that gets sent.
- Please add the buyer's name to the seller's order list, and allow the search bar to search by buyer name. It is currently all set up by Order ID, which doesn't really make sense. A seller who has just shipped a package for example, is not thinking about their orders in terms of an arbitrary number... their thinking of whose order they shipped today...
- Please add the ability for sellers to message their buyers, either through a chat button in the orders list or inside the individual order. Many times sellers need to follow up or ask questions of their buyers but currently cannot do it inside the platform if the buyer did not initiate the chat.
