Why Can't I Use Special Characters in Arcadier?

Arcadier does not permit special characters in some fields in your marketplace. Special characters are characters like those below:

`~!@#$%^&*()_+-={}|[]\:";'<>?,./

This is because they sometimes interfere with the code strings in that field. For example, using a quotation mark (") would cause the system to see it as the end of the line of text, cutting out the text that come after the quotation mark.

Fields that do not permit special characters include your admin homepage marketplace name field, custom fields and variants names (for retail marketplaces).
